The Canon 17mm f4 S.S.C. is an ultra wide-angle lens for the Canon FD system of manual focus 35mm SLR cameras. It is a high quality lens with a rectilinear design so that straight lines photograph straight without curved distortion. This makes this lens well suited for architectural or real estate photography. It also incorporates a floating element design to improve image quality even at close focusing distances.
This lens accepts 72mm filters.
